The Pembrokeshire Table - Celebrating Welsh Wine Week
The Pembrokeshire Table is a relaxed, communal dining experience hosted by Head Sommelier Cathryn Bell and Executive Chef Douglas Balish, bringing guests together to explore exceptional wines, seasonal food and the stories behind them.
In celebration of Welsh Wine Week, join us for a special four-course food and wine pairing dinner centred around the exciting new chapter unfolding within Welsh wine.
With vineyard plantings expanding across the country, a new generation of producers is shaping a distinctive Welsh identity in wine through authenticity, sustainability and a strong sense of place. This evening will champion some of the vineyards, capturing the soul of these emerging wines, showcasing expressive bottles that feel unmistakably Welsh.
Throughout the evening, guests will explore wines from Tair Gafr in the Vale of Glamorgan, Hebron Vineyard in Carmarthenshire and biodynamically certified Ancre Hill in Monmouthshire, with Ancre Hill winemaker Jean de Plessis joining us for the dinner.
Guests will begin the evening with a glass of Tair Gafr Binc Rosé before gathering around the communal table for a relaxed and immersive four-course dining experience created by Cathryn and Douglas. A selection of wines from each vineyard will be discussed and paired throughout the evening, exploring how flavour, texture and pairing can reveal different sides of the wines across each course.
Relaxed, engaging and full of conversation, The Pembrokeshire Table is all about sharing exceptional food, thoughtful wines and the people and stories behind them.
