Join us for our fun and educational 2-day photography course from October 20-21st, led by renowned photographer Phil Boorman, who we have worked with across our venues for close to a decade. Our small and intimate course is perfect for keen amateurs and those with a little photographic experience who want to expand their knowledge and ability. You’ll get all the training you need in a relaxed and comfortable environment, to help you produce better photographs.

Our 2-day photography course will be led by renowned photographer Phil Boorman, who we have worked with across our venues for close to a decade. In fact, most of the imagery on our website has been captured by Phil himself!

Our small and intimate course are perfect for keen amateurs and those with a little photographic experience who want to expand their knowledge and ability. You’ll get all the training you need in a relaxed and comfortable environment, to help you produce better photographs.

The technical aspect of using a DSLR will be explained in detail, and you’ll use the Grove of Narberth grounds and interiors to put your training into practice.

This course will cover topics including:
Images - composition, focus, and understanding and learning to use light
Equipment – camera settings, controlling exposure (shutter speed/aperture), depth of field, and lenses
Post production – editing/retouching, Raw files

The course will begin at 9am on day 1, and end in the afternoon on day 2. Equipment not provided, please bring your own camera.

What's included:
The package includes the course fee, a 2-night stay in a room grade of your choice, breakfast each morning, lunch on both days of the course, and dinner on both nights of your stay. Additional packages available for two attendees sharing a room, and also for single attendees travelling with a guest.
